Data Access & Isolation
- Your privacy is protected: Students can only see their own work and assignments. Teachers can only access their own classes and students. No one can see data they're not authorized to view.
- Different permissions for different roles: Teachers have the tools they need to manage classes and provide feedback. Students have access to their own work and learning materials. The system automatically ensures everyone sees only what they should.
- Teachers stay in control: Teachers can add their own feedback and guidance to complement the AI-generated feedback, ensuring everything aligns with their teaching style and approach.
Encryption & Data Protection
- Your data is always encrypted: Whether your data is traveling over the internet or sitting in our servers, it's protected with industry-standard encryption—the same level of security used by banks and major tech companies.
- Data stays close to home: Your data is stored in secure data centers within your region, ensuring it stays local and complies with regional data protection requirements.
- Secure login options: Sign in with your Google account or email. Your login credentials are protected using secure, industry-standard methods that prevent unauthorized access.
Privacy & Compliance
- PDPA compliance: Compliant with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2012. Data collection requires consent, and users have rights to access and correct their personal data.
- Purpose limitation: Personal data is collected only for clearly communicated educational purposes and used appropriately.
- Student data protection: Student data access restricted to authorized teachers and the student themselves. Schools and teachers are responsible for obtaining appropriate parental consent for students under 13, typically through their existing school consent processes.
- Third-party security: CloudConvert (file conversion) uses isolated processing and automatic file deletion. Data transfer agreements ensure overseas data protection meets PDPA standards.
